Here are a few of the sketches I did this past October when I was teaching in France. We were in Normandy on the north coast, and visited some wonderful places to paint and sketch. Honfleur is one of my favourites. many of the Impressionists painted there. These are all done with pen and ink plus watercolour, en plein air.

This winter I've been working on oils on canvas. Over the years, images either present themselves to me as a watercolour or an oil. Guess my voices are saying oils this time around. Most of the paintings I have made lately are of the Georgian Bay coastlines, along the Bruce Peninsula or up at Killarney. This one is Killarney Shoreline II 16"x16"
